Conservation: Responsible for any projects regarding beautification, energy, education, and conservation. The department plans to involve children.

Creative Arts: Responsible for assisting in the artistic presentation of any projects, i.e. design flyers or decorations for a function. In addition may sponsor trips to museums, art workshops, etc.

Drama: Responsible for planning drama functions for club members and their families, i.e. a children's theater production, etc.

Education: Responsible for running the Spelling Bee, selecting the three young women who will be awarded with our scholarships, and choosing the young woman who will be our GCI representative at Douglas College.

Intn'l Affairs: Responsible for keeping the members aware of international facts as well as organizing international dinners at the homes of members.

Membership: Responsible for gaining new members and organizing our annual membership drive. The Membership department also organizes couples functions during the year. This department updates the yearbook and is also responsible for taking photos at club events and functions.

Public Affairs: Encompasses two major areas: citizenship and crime prevention

Public Relations: Provides information on upcoming events and news items. Pictures of Junior Events should be given to this department for possible publication. Presently also responsible for maintenance of the web site

Telephone/Email Squad: Responsible for relaying necessary information to Club members. (Phone/Email messages must be cleared by the president of the Club).

Allocations/Fund-raising: Responsible for organizing fund-raisers, the proceeds of which will be allocated to charities. Santa Fund-raising: Responsible for organizing the annual Train Ride with Santa. Newsletter: Responsible for creating and compiling Junior News. All articles must be submitted before the 20th of each month except for July and August.

Scrapbook: Responsible for compiling the years events into a scrapbook of memorabilia, to be presented to the president at year end banquet.

Hospitality: The first vice president is responsible for hospitality. These duties include securing location of monthly meetings; getting members to volunteer their services for setup, cleanup, and refreshments; to notify all members via the newsletter, of the date, time and place of our monthly meetings and listing the members responsible for that month's duties.

Home Life:The Home Life department is one of the most popular in the Club. It is responsible for events that augment the family lives of all the members and the community that we serve. It organizes food, toy and clothing drives for families in need (e.g. the Thanksgiving food Baskets, the Hurrican Floyd clothing drive). The Home Life committee also organizes meals (M-W-F for 4 weeks) for member's families with new babies, and any families within our member and communities experiencing illness, surgery or death.

Ways and Means: Responsible for fund-raising efforts for the purpose of covering the operating expenses of the Club. Libraries 2000: Responsible for State Project:
